We produce and revise strategies for all kinds of organisations – from small or emerging organisations to large-scale operations. These can be strategic plans, business plans, project plans, or feasibility studies for capital projects. It’s always a collaborative process – we use a tailored approach that responds to each different client’s situation and requirements.
We build a methodology based on conversations with key members of the organisation. Step one is to re-establish the organisation’s vision and ambition – which can become unclear over time and lose focus. We then build up a picture of what the organisation wants to achieve and accomplish in the coming years, the resources it will need, and how it will generate and deploy these resources. And because Counterculture includes finance, fundraising and company secretarial skills, our work is always financially rigorous and pragmatic.
The end result is a detailed document – shaped by working closely with the client on a step-by-step drafting process. Where necessary the finished document will be heavily research based, looking into audiences or markets. And we’ll seek specialist advice as is often required, usually around VAT, HR, retail or catering.
