Amanda is an experienced finance and business manager and holds an AAT accounting qualification. Amanda brings particular expertise in arts and heritage non-profit finance and governance, as well as being an accomplished team leader. Amanda headed up an animal charity between 2016 and 2019 where she led the board through a period of change management and developed both Strategic and Business Plans for the charity.
Prior to that she worked as Director of Finance and Operations at Lakeland Arts from 2006 to 2016 where she was instrumental in a successful bid to the Heritage Lottery Fund for a £9.7m grant for the development of a new museum on the shores of Windermere – ‘Windermere Jetty’ opened in March 2019. Amanda also led on Lakeland Arts’ finance, HR, IT, operations, commercial activities and facilities, including the conservation of two Grade I listed buildings.
