After 20 years as a partner leading Restructuring teams in the North West, I decided to set up and run a couple of practices providing proper restructuring (and insolvency) support to a range of organisations across the UK.
Whilst based in the North West, I work with a range of organisations across the UK, many of which are in the Not for Profit and Charity world.
I’m usually asked to assist when an organisation is faced with some sort of unplanned change; often with an insolvency aspect to it. I aim to save organisations and in every case so far, it has been possible to save, at least, a proportion of the objectives. Usually all of them. Some examples where I’ve led include the British Association for Adoption and Fostering, The Schools Network and Homemaker Solutions.
I also specialise in working with football clubs and have been the Administrator of Barnsley and Bury, as well as advising stakeholders in another 30 clubs.
I’m a trustee of The Everyman and Playhouse in Liverpool and when not working, I enjoy cycling, both on and off road and have season tickets at Wigan Athletic.
