I’m a corporate and commercial Solicitor and chartered Company Secretary. I have extensive experience in the creative and cultural industries – mainly in the not for profit sector – and was recently Head of Legal at Tate, where I advised colleagues across all four galleries on a range of commercial matters.
I qualified in England in 2006 at a leading charity and commercial law firm in London, and was the Senior Solicitor at Arts Council England in 2013, before spending two years in the advertising industry as a commercial solicitor and UK Company Secretary.
I provide legal advice on a wide range of issues, including charity law, public law, information law, corporate governance, commercial contracts and intellectual property.
Before becoming a solicitor, I was a Mental Health Nurse and was Director of Development for a small development charity in London. I’m passionate about the arts and spend a lot of my spare time in galleries looking at art that I’m not sure I really understand, but like nonetheless.
