Amanda is a facilitator and accredited coach, with a particular focus on reflective practice and peer learning within the cultural and community sectors, and a passion for supporting people to understand what makes their heart sing. Her facilitation work includes leadership programmes, board development, team reflection sessions and consultation events. She has developed and led peer learning programmes for Creative People and Places, Creative Civic Change, the London Culture Forum, and the British Council.

Amanda also has significant experience of supporting organisations undergoing change and has worked with a number of clients from the cultural sector within England and Wales supporting their transformation.

Prior to becoming freelance, Amanda held a number of leadership roles within the cultural sector including Director of Artlink; Widening Participation Manager for a partnership of Yorkshire Universities; leading the Arts Service for the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, and at Arts Council England as Director, London. She is a Clore Fellow, and is currently Chair of the Board of Trustees at Middle Child Theatre Hull.
