Daisy has worked in the cultural sector for nearly two decades, harnessing her passion for the transformative power of the arts, her commitment to social justice, and her dedication to working collaboratively and equitably to create inclusive, responsive and values-centred arts programmes and organisational systems, processes and practices.
Daisy was Director of Learning and Participation at Wigmore Hall for a decade, where she grew and led an internationally renowned participatory music programme and department centred in co-creation and wellbeing, working in partnership with education, healthcare, social care, community and local authority partners in a range of settings across London and beyond. This work gave Daisy significant experience in safeguarding and trauma-informed practice; diversity, equity and inclusion; team management and person-centred support; strategy development and programming; research and evaluation; public speaking, copywriting and advocacy; partnership development; financial management and fundraising; and the role of creative practice in improving wellbeing.
As of May 2025 Daisy is now CEO (maternity cover) for Fairbeats, a music charity working with young refugees, asylum seekers, newly arrived migrants and their families.
She was Chair and remains a Trustee of grassroots music charity Spark the Noise (formerly Girls Rock London), and was also a Board Director for Southwell Music Festival and Governor for Lansbury Lawrence Primary School, together giving her a wealth of experience in governance, policy writing, education, strategy and business planning, fundraising, compliance, financial management and equitable leadership.
Daisy is also a CHASE (AHRC)-funded PhD researcher in Anthropology at Goldsmiths, University of London, exploring the role of music in creating spaces of care, safety and resistance for people of marginalised genders. She has been vocalist and synth-player for queer-feminist band, Glorybox, for 10 years, and is an Honorary Associate of the Royal Academy of Music.
