With over 25 years experience of working for prestigious arts and heritage organisations, Emma is highly skilled in strategic and artistic planning, financial and operational management, business development, fundraising and change management.

Throughout her career Emma has worked with cultural organisations that have undergone significant and transformative changes, from major capital projects, mergers, to transferring from Local Authorities to independent Charitable Trusts.

Previous appointments include Executive Director at Towner in Eastbourne, where she led on the transfer away from the Local Authority and quickly built the reserves and reputation of the gallery. As Deputy Director of the Grade 1 listed De La Warr Pavilion, Emma was part of the Project Team for the £9 million refurbishment of this iconic building. In her role as Chief Operating Officer at Holburne Museum in Bath, she was responsible for fundraising and all commercial income generation.

Previously the Chair of Lighthouse and Brighton Photo Biennial, she is currently a Trustee for the Museum of Military Intelligence and the Gabo Trust.
