Fiona has extensive experience delivering programmes and consultancy projects in partnership with universities for students and communities, with a particular focus on delivering place-based activities and enhancing opportunities for student leadership, development, and inclusion.
Fiona is the former Partnerships and Development Director at Student Hubs, where Fiona led consultancy partnerships with universities in areas such as knowledge exchange, sustainability, widening participation and enhancing the quality of student and community engagement. Throughout her career she has worked with universities, students and community organisations to deliver and enhance the quality of activities, develop strategy and lead stakeholder management.
Fiona has particular expertise in designing inclusive and accessible student opportunities and youth programmes, with a background in the charity sector and education sector working in volunteer management, leading programmes in schools, and marketing. She has expertise in designing and delivering youth programmes, and created Student Hubs’ legacy resources for the higher education sector.
