Garth is an experienced legal and business consultant, EDI specialist, and expert in ethical business practices. He helps organizations integrate sustainability into their strategy to enhance brand value, reduce risk, and engage stakeholders. With expertise in Business Law, Employment Law, HR, EDI, Corporate Social Responsibility, and ESG Sustainability, Garth has hands-on experience scaling sustainable SME businesses.

He is Chair of the Liverpool Commonwealth Association and co-founder of the Good Small Business Awards, the UK’s first Business Sustainability Awards for small businesses. Garth is a Non-Executive Director at Alder Hey Children’s NHS Trust and has served on several boards, including the Netball World Cup 2019 Legacy Board, the Liverpool Special Olympics Games 2021 Event Board and the Liverpool Commonwealth Games 2022 Bid Board.

He holds trustee positions at The Belong Cohesion and Integration Network and Luma Creations, an Arts Council National Portfolio Organisation (NPO). Additionally, Garth serves on the University of Liverpool’s Centre for Sustainable Business and The African Business Chamber. He was recently named in the inaugural Northern Leaders 2024 list for his positive impact in the North.
