Gemma has worked in fundraising for over 10 years. She has a breadth of experience creating fundraising campaigns for a number of arts, culture and heritage organisations, including the Octagon Theatre, Z-arts, Chetham’s School of Music, The Harris Museum and Art Gallery, and Merseyside Dance Initiative.
Gemma has worked with individual artists, arts organisations and NPOs, supporting them to streamline services, improve fundraising governance and increase income. Gemma’s experience covers Trust, Individual and Business Fundraising, with particular expertise in creating campaigns for organisations new to fundraising.
In addition to her fundraising work, Gemma is a funeral Celebrant, delivering services across the Northwest. Working directly with families, Gemma skill lies in creating personal, sincere services for all audiences. Gemma has recently become a local Councillor, where her membership includes Equalities Lead and Scrutiny of Services, for her local Borough Council.
