Grace has over 20 years’ experience providing corporate governance services across a range of companies and industries including finance, insurance, higher education, and the third sector. In 2016 she became the founder and Director of her consultancy GED & Co. Ltd providing a full range of CoSec services to Company Boards and Board Committees. She has been advising Board and Committee Chairs on a range of governance issues, supporting effectiveness reviews, elections, AGMs and drafting policies and reports. Grace is a qualified Company Secretary and a member of the Chartered Governance Institute.
Prior to setting up her consultancy Grace held a number of senior roles including Director of Business Services at Yorkshire Housing, Head of Corporate Services at the Institute for Learning and Teaching in Higher Education, and Deputy Secretary at the University of Hull. Grace’s all-round business knowledge complements her governance expertise. She has an MBA from Bath University and is fully qualified in HR, Data Protection and Project Management.
