Jenny has worked on cultural strategies, business plans, governance reviews, creative programmes and fundraising projects for local authorities and arts and heritage organisations such as Chiswick House and Gardens Trust, The Hepworth Wakefield, De La Warr Pavilion, Lincoln Performing Arts Centre, Lambeth Council, Rochdale Borough Council, Thanet District Council, British Council, Arts Council England and Teesside University. She is a strategic project manager who can undertake a variety of roles, and has overseen stakeholder consultation, research and analysis.
Jenny has recently achieved a Level 4 Certificate in Charity Law and Governance at the Chartered Governance Institute. She has completed an MA in Arts & Cultural Management at King’s College London and a BSc in Economics and Statistics at UCL.
Jenny has experience working in the music industry in a variety of capacities. Before Counterculture, she worked as a press officer at music PR agency Tailored Communication, handling press campaigns for electronic music artists and labels. Further, Jenny has experience covering partnerships and press for international festivals Dimensions and Outlook. She is a DJ who has been featured in The Guardian, DJ Mag and Crack Magazine and has performed at Glastonbury Festival, fabric, Tate Modern and international venues.
