Kate is a senior leader, non-executive director and independent consultant working with purpose-led brands, charities and sports. Kate was the first Head of Newcastle United Foundation for over a decade, leading the organisation from start-up to award winning charity. Kate has also held senior roles at UK Athletics and Virgin Money Foundation. Kate was a Trustee of the Greggs Foundation for nine years and is currently a Trustee of Northern Powergrid Foundation and Sported, a national sport of development charity.
Kate now works with a portfolio of senior leadership teams and boards in different sectors.
Recent projects include campaign director for a high profile Cancer Research centre linked to football, advisor to a mayoral authority on a sport and culture events strategy (as part of a Counterculture team), joining the senior team of a national charity to cover a short-term absence, commercial champion for Scottish University spin-outs, governance for a new grant-making trust in Wales and chair recruitment for Arts Council National Portfolio Organisations.
