Kathryn is an experienced senior leader in the Post-16 and adult learning sector with a track record for delivering change and innovation. Her interests are in leadership and management, equity, diversity and inclusion and mental health and wellbeing.

Through her work she has led multi-million-pound national projects to bring innovation, systems thinking and better practice into organisations. She has designed, developed and commissioned leadership programmes for the Post- 16 sector.  She has written government policy, research reports and published numerous good practice guides.

As a freelance consultant, Kathryn now spends her time delivering training and coaching and mentoring leaders and managers on personal, professional and organisational development. She is also a governor at a large FE college and is working to support change on equity, diversity and inclusion at the college.

She is a qualified teacher, coach and mentor. She is a Thinking Environment Practitioner which is an approach she uses to ensure that there is deeper listening and equality of participation in the sessions she facilitates, so that learning and development is enhanced.
