Kelly is a recent UCL Politics and International Relations graduate with experience working with third-sector organisations and diplomatic and parliamentary institutions.

Before joining Counterculture in 2026, Kelly contributed to qualitative and quantitative research projects for third-sector organisations. This includes leading a year-end impact report for the London LGBTQ+ Community Centre and designing an evaluation framework for a community interest company under NHS East London Foundation Trust. Her work has informed funding decisions and programme design.

Kelly previously interned at Singapore’s foreign office, where she supported diplomatic engagements in Southeast Asia. She gained exposure to Westminster with the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association UK, analysing women’s political participation in parliamentary democracies. She completed her dissertation on tactical voting websites in the 2024 UK General Election, reflecting a particular interest in political behaviour and civic engagement.

At university, Kelly ran marketing campaigns for theatre festivals platforming Global Majority and LGBTQ+ creatives, performing arts events fundraising for humanitarian aid, and inter-university performing arts festivals. She also has a personal interest in independent theatre, dance, and vintage clothing.
