To date Lowri has over 20 years’ experience working in a variety of roles, all of which have involved the project planning and management of cultural, heritage, building conservation and community-led projects of all sizes and varieties, whilst also sourcing the funding for them. Her recent projects have included the submission of a £4.5 million NLHF bid for the restoration of Gladstone’s Library; community consultation and feasibility exercises for Aberystwyth and Kidwelly Town Councils; and working on the evaluations of the Hafod Morfa Copperworks, Catalyst Cymru and National Theatre Wales projects amongst others.
Before working as a consultant, Lowri had a long career in the local government and charity sector, most recently as Operational Director of the Strata Florida Trust, and, before that, as Grants Consultant for the National Trust in Wales. She has an MSc in the Conservation of Historic Buildings from the University of Bath and a BSc (hons) in Archaeology from the University of Leicester. Lowri is a fully certified member of the Institute of Fundraising.
