Associate

After graduating from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Neil has spent the last 20 years working as a theatre producer and general manager in London’s West End and across the UK. In addition, he has also specialised in theatre production finance and acted as a consultant to major theatres in the UK including the National Theatre, Sadler’s Wells and Hampstead Theatre.

Based in Scotland and London, Neil has most recently been one of the lead producers on the musical The Prince of Egypt at the Dominion Theatre, London. Opening in February 2020, the UK wide theatre shutdown six weeks later found him fast developing the skills required to navigate one of the West End’s largest companies through the pandemic and to successfully reopen the show in July 2021.

Financial management has played a very important part of Neil’s career. He has now led the management accounting on dozens of productions whilst additionally working with many organisations as a financial consultant. His approach is always driven by a desire to create efficient, practical and sustainable processes. He always focuses on what the business needs – effectively trying to bring the world of finance and the day-to-day operations together to complement each other.
