Sara Teiger has over 25 years’ experience in media and communications across sectors including the arts, charities, social care, franchising, people development, and SMEs.
Cutting her teeth at too cool for school Manchester PR agency Communique in the 90s, on accounts including Vimto and Boddingtons, she lasted three months before walking out in a huff, with half the contents of the stationery cupboard in her bag.
Spells followed at a specialist B2B agency and an exciting start up called Spin Media (later SKV Communications) before taking an in-house position at Manchester hospitality company Hale Leisure, which boasted ten bars and restaurants and Simply Red’s Mick Hucknall as a silent partner.
She has been happily freelancing since 2001, specialising in off and online media relations, and sometimes writing case studies, web copy and newsletter content.
Her superpower is identifying the story you need to be telling and making sure people hear it.
