Sue is a highly experienced senior commercial manager in the corporate, public and not for profit sectors. Her track record includes 12 years at Marks and Spencer (M&S) within product development, supply chain, retail and E-commerce focused roles in Merchandising, Buying and as the founding Director of M&S India.

Sue has provided commercial and retail consultancy for Royal Armouries, University of Portsmouth Students’ Union, The Modernist Society and Rambert. Sue has also worked with Counterculture LLP as part of wider projects for Waltham Forest Council, Creswell Crags Museum, a new East London museum and other London Borough Councils including retail development proposals (physical and online), merchandise supply routes and licensing. In addition Sue has contributed to several National Lottery Heritage Fund projects, contributing to successful applications for The Danny Adamson, Lakeland Arts/Windermere Jetty, MK Gallery and The Scouts.

Based on the Wirral, Sue has worked internationally on a consultancy basis with a diverse range of clients on strategic and operational retail issues including JJB Sports, NHS Alder Hey Innovations Hub, Liverpool Guild of Students, Valence House, The Crescent Arts Centre Belfast, and Cardiff University Students’ Union. This included 4 years with National Union of Students consulting on sourcing sustainable clothing, Fairtrade and Living Wage in India and Bangladesh.

Sue is also Company Secretary for 26 Characters Limited, a not for profit organisation for writers in business, managing their finances, legal affairs and governance. Sue has a BSc in Mechanical Engineering (Queen Mary College, University of London) and is studying to qualify as a Chartered Company Secretary.
