Peter is a Chartered Public Finance Accountant. He believes that finance must deliver real value to organisational decision-making. As a Finance Director he works alongside existing finance team members to take the mystery out of finance – enabling staff and trustees to understand financial information and know the right questions to ask. Recent projects are with the human rights charity Global Dialogue, the National Youth Agency and a number of Students’ Unions – including Middlesex Students’ Union and the London School of Economics Students’ Union.
Peter specialises in finance function implementation, process development and strategic financial support, and in bringing his expertise in specific charity financial accounting (SORP) to training – and the production of financial and management accounts for clients. During his time at Pricewaterhouse Coopers’ Government and Public Sector practice, he worked with the NHS, local government and charity clients. Peter has a degree in Politics and Modern History from the University of Manchester and his particular professional interest is in socially and politically conscientious organisations.
