Contract Review

Counterculture Legal provides a contract review service to help you understand your legal paperwork, and to help negotiate the best possible deal. From our offices in Manchester and London, our solicitors and legal assistants will work to explain what contract terms mean, what is unusual about the document, and perhaps most importantly, what’s missing.

We can then prepare a written report to share with your colleagues, suggested changes to the document, or enter into negotiations on your behalf – all within budgets we agree with you. Our reports are clear and concise, and can respond to any special concerns you might have. If you prefer we can arrange to talk you through our report, by phone, online or in person.

As a solicitor’s firm, we are qualified and regulated to deal with contracts based on the laws of England and Wales, but if you are based elsewhere, we work in conjunction with other solicitors who can make sure you are aware of all local issues. But we are more than a traditional law firm, since we also offer specialist consultancy services to the sector. We work together with accountants, business planners, fundraisers, tax advisors and other professional colleagues to make sure all of our reports are up to date and take into account best practice.

Our service covers all of the most common contracts that you may come across in the sector, including:
