Counterculture Partnership LLP is delighted to announce Rafiat Lagundoye as an Associate

Rafiat Lagundoye, a Chartered Accountant with several years of experience in the education and charity sectors, has joined the Counterculture team as Finance Associate.

Rafiat is a highly skilled qualified chartered accountant (ACCA) with a wealth of experience in financial management and reporting, budget management and auditing. With over ten years of experience in the educational and not for profit sector, she brings with her proven expertise in developing financial strategies and improving financial controls within highly complex settings.

Rafiat was welcomed to Counterculture, which provides strategic, business and legal advice to the cultural, educational and creative sectors, by Senior Partner and Founder, Tom Wilcox: “We are delighted to have Rafiat on board as an Associate. Her financial expertise and wealth of experience in the education and third sectors will be a huge asset to both Counterculture and our clients.”

On taking up her new role as Finance Associate, Rafiat added: “I am excited about joining Counterculture as a Finance Associate and exploring the partnership opportunities it offers. Counterculture’s vision and values resonate with me and aligns with my career goals. I am looking forward to building a mutually beneficial and sustainable relationship with the team and clients.”

Rafiat has trained and led several teams to execute financial operations, with utmost accuracy and in full compliance with financial regulatory requirements. Prior to joining Counterculture, she led and managed high level financial services for the Multi-Academy Trust as Head of Finance. She led the development and implementation of robust audit compliance financial reporting systems and processes, while building capacity across the Trust and other organisations she has worked with as a consultant. She led several internal and external audits, managed preparation of financial reports for external stakeholders and led the collation and analysis of financial data to inform decision making. She has supported a number of local charities as treasurer and member of board of trustees.
