Anna Maloney is a “hybrid-human” bringing together a 360 degree skill set including global strategy development for products, people and places. Anna has over 20 years experience of leading cultural tourism, collaboration and export strategies for the British Government; creative direction and curation of major events/festivals; sponsorship and funding; entrepreneurship and commercial acumen; incorporating wellbeing, resilience and transformation as the thread throughout all her work.

At the start of her career, Anna was responsible for the development of Liverpool’s business tourism strategy, followed by the international promotion of Liverpool: European Capital of Culture 2008, based at VisitBritain London to maximise the opportunity to showcase cultural tourism across the UK.

Most recently, the last 5 years were spent heading up all things art, culture and creative industries for the GREAT Britain Campaign, overseeing the steering group of eight government departments to maximise on soft power for the UK from overseas. As part of this role, Anna developed the Culture Diary Programme, managing change and representing over 9000 of the UK’s cultural and creative organisations via this network, whilst supporting increased international touring and creating Ambassador receptions around the world showcasing the best of British.

Anna also has a unique mix of local grassroots knowledge alongside major brands.

Previous clients of Annamal Productions include the Mayor of London, GREAT Britain Campaign, Department for International Trade, the Royal Albert Hall, VisitBritain, Liverpool European Capital of Culture 2008, Rose Bruford College of Performing Arts; Morning Gloryville; Africa Oye (the UK’s biggest African music festival); Sound City; Bestival; Royal Horticultural Society; and Liverpool Hope University.
