Helen has been fundraising in all its forms for over 25 years and has been freelance for the past 10 years. She loves what she does, which is why she has been doing it for so long! Helen specialises in fundraising in the heritage, culture and arts sector. Successful fundraising requires a mix of skills which include listening, researching, writing skills and analysis. Helen has developed all of these skills and more during her long career in the charity sector. She has a broad understanding of different fundraiser income streams, ranging from trusts and foundations to individual giving and on site donations. Helen is donor focused and always makes sure that donors are central to fundraising. Helen is also committed to making sure that she shares skills and makes sure that skills are embedded. She runs training workshops and sessions and enjoys sharing her knowledge. She loves strategic projects but also continues to be hands-on for clients. Helen loves to be a sounding board, mentoring both fundraisers and other staff.

Helen has been lucky enough to work with a huge variety of clients including The Lowry Arts Centre, Leigh Film Society and the Steamboat Daniel Adamson to name a few. Helen is on the board of the recently renewed Manchester Jewish Museum.
