Howard is a senior PR consultant, media trainer and commentator. A former national newspaper journalist, he has over two decades’ experience working at some of London’s best PR agencies and for some of the world’s biggest brands. In various head of news and head of content roles, he has been behind several award-winning campaigns including PR Week’s PR Campaign of the Year and a Cannes Lions. And as a consultant he currently works for agencies in London and New York, across national and international client campaigns.
His national and regional experience in the world of Political comms includes working in Westminster for various Remain campaigns, and he was also comms chief for the All-Party Parliamentary Groupson Covid, chaired by Layla Moran MP.
As a media trainer Howard has trained hundreds of industry colleagues and clients across every aspect of media interaction – from brands like Starbucks, Disney and Coca-Cola to business leaders, MPs and celebs.
