Lynsey is a consultant with almost 20 years of expertise in the creative economy.  She has worked in high profile roles for the British Council, Nesta, The Lighthouse and Creative Edinburgh, building an international network and reputation for her pioneering work with creative hubs and networks.  Lynsey has strong strategic skills and is bold in her thinking, always believing that people sit at the heart of change.

Lynsey was the Global Lead for the British Council’s Creative Hubs and Communities portfolio, advocating policy and developing toolkits, research, programmes and projects that were internationalised.  Lynsey also led on Creative Economy programming and partnerships across Sub-Saharan Africa and Europe, before working globally.  She steered over 100 projects in more than 40 countries across Africa, Europe, South America and South East Asia.

Previously, she was co-Founder of Creative Edinburgh, one of Europe’s largest creative hubs for the creative, cultural and tech sectors and has designed various network strategies for organisations across the UK since.  She has also shaped enterprise and leadership programmes with organisations like Clore Leadership, Nesta, Eden Project, British Council and Creative & Cultural Skills.

Lynsey is an RSA Fellow, Board Member of The Stove Network and alumni member of Creative & Cultural Skills Future Leaders.
