Mhairi is a highly experienced buyer and product developer with more than 20 years’ experience in the arts sector, working for a range of iconic institutions including the National Galleries of Scotland, Tate Modern and Royal Academy of Arts.
With deep experience of the complete buying and product development process – assessing, specifying, approving and delivering retail product, Mhairi has trusted relationships across a broad range of product suppliers and manufacturers. These include textiles, ceramics, gifting and print. She also has extensive success collaborating with artists on product creation and approval, as well as continuous delivery of detailed range planning, encompassing ever-changing seasonal and exhibition ranges. Her most successful exhibitions include the blockbusters Picasso & Paper and Hockney Bigger Picture.
Her most recent project with Counterculture involved exploring numerous retail options with Manchester International Festival for an exciting new arts and music venue.
