Before joining Counterculture as an Associate in January 2023 Roger has worked in the Charity sector for 17 years as the Financial Controller at the Liverpool Guild of Students. During that time Roger has also worked on various Counterculture clients as their Financial Controller and/or Financial Advisor including the University of Strathclyde Students’ Union, University of Manchester Students’ Union, University of Aberdeen Students’ Union, University of Sunderland Students’ Union, Towner Gallery and the Tunbridge Wells Assembly Theatre.
Roger is currently working as Financial Controller at the University of Salford Students’ Union, Liverpool John Moores University Students’ Union and the Community Transport Association UK Ltd.
Roger is a qualified Chartered Certified Accountant and also has a BSc honours degree from the University of Warwick in MORSE (Maths, Operational Research, Statistics, Economics).
He is a keen sports person with a particular interest in tennis, squash and badminton.
