Anne has extensive management experience in the charitable music sector covering programming, finance, fundraising, personnel and personal development, strategic planning, change management, distribution (including digital), comms, marketing, and governance. A natural problem solver, she combines creative flair with a methodical approach, financial acumen, and strong interpersonal skills.

Before joining Counterculture, Anne was Executive Director of new music charitable label NMC Recordings for nearly eighteen years and as consultant to the Hallé has managed the orchestra’s own label since inception. Anne has taken part in a variety of music sector forums and has sat on leading awards juries and funding panels. She has delivered a number of presentations on rights, marketing and the recording industry to young composers and music students and acts as a mentor to arts executives. Anne holds a BMus (Hons) degree from Cardiff University. She is Vice Chair of Governors of a secondary school and is a Trustee of Henry Wood Hall.
