We work with many different third sector organisations including those in the creative and cultural industries and those in the heritage and education sectors. Many of us have previously volunteered for charities, so we understand the needs, challenges and realities of the sector. We’re friendly, approachable and able to help you with whatever question you want to throw at us.
Our charity law solicitors provide advice and guidance on a range of legal, regulatory and governance issues. We can assist with contracts, mergers, incorporations, employment, fundraising, lease reviews, commercial and business, data protection and intellectual property. We can also assist with disputes.
We’re not always desk based and often work closely with our clients to help them find ways to thrive. Head of Legal, Keith Arrowsmith regularly contributes to workshops, planning days and conferences, and he also provides training. He is a visiting lecturer on the Clore Leadership Programme and researches the effect of the charity governance codes.
We always provide advice that is pragmatic, cost effective and appropriate.
